One hundred Malaysian undergraduates from Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) and 12 American University students
collaborated for a one day seminar to exchange information and views on "Student Life in Malaysia and the United States"
in Kuantan, Pahang. The students all spoke about their own impressions of each other's country, and shared information
and misperceptions about student life and popular culture. The conversations were intense and participants demonstrated
great interest in wanting to learn about one another. The one-day program was organized by Universiti Malaysia Pahang,
the U.S. Embassy, and NGO ERA Consumer Malaysia.
