The Lincoln Resource Center (LRC),
originally known as the USIS library, has changed its name and
location several times since it opened its door to the
Malaysian public on February 15, 1950. Despite these changes,
the purpose of the LRC remains unchanged: to provide the most
up-to-date and accurate information about U.S. policies,
society, and culture.
Named after President Abraham
Lincoln, the Lincoln Resource Center provides reference and
referral services on all aspects about the United States of
America. Fields covered include foreign affairs, U.S.
political and social processes, economics, finance, trade,
education, biotechnology, arts and culture.
We are located at the U.S. Embassy Kuala
Lumpur, 376 Jalan Tun Razak, 50400 Kuala Lumpur. Please
call 03 2168 5000 or email us at IRCKualaLumpur@state.gov
or contact a Lincoln
Corner near you, for information about the U.S. and
related research.
